Exclusive Interview with inspiration to me as a voiceactress/friend of mine Youtube and Professional Voiceactor Joseph Vitaliano Jr. aka JoeVialFilms

By: Amber B.

Note: Hey There! This will probably be my last interview for a while. I am still waiting for some of my other interviews to happen with comic book author Jesse Blaze Snider and more. I will still do my interviews. It’ll just be a couple of months until my next ones with the people who inspire me as author, voiceactress and singer. Like Robert Englund, my friend Joseph Vitaliano Jr. Also known as JoeVialFilms in the Youtube Voiceacting community is a versatile character voiceactor.  He has done fandubs of many Disney classics including the Little Mermaid in which he portrays the signature role as the evil sea witch Ursula (which Pat Carroll originally voiced).Joe has recently got his first break into professional voiceacting doing the roles of two characters for a Final Fantasy VIII audio adaptation for an independent client. If you have not seen this voiceactor’s work then please check out his official Youtube page http://www.youtube.com/user/JoeVialFilms after reading our interview. He even told me that he was honored for me to interview him since I interviewed Robert Englund. I’m glad to call Joe my friend and wish him well in his voiceacting career in the future. I hope you enjoy reading this interview and more are to come in the future so stay tuned!-Amber

Amber: How did you get your start as a Voice-actor and fan-dubbing on Youtube?

Joseph Vitaliano Jr. : Well, my interest in voice-over began long before the dawn of YouTube.  Growing up as a kid with movies, TV and cartoons (and a big love and imagination for that classic kid’s game, Let’s Pretend), I got into the various characters, their distinctive voices and the general fun of the given works.  Whether it was Disney, Warner Brothers or Hanna-Barbera; whether it was fantasy or science fiction; I was hooked.  I would “act out” scenes from various things, mimicking the voices and so on.  Also, I learned how these various works were created via “behind the scenes” documentaries and interviews with the actors who did the voices.  That’s where it all began.
