The low rumble wakes me, nothing more yet than the odd beat of an occasional raindrop on the roof of the tent. It's only a matter of time but, I repeat it under my breath, whisper it, not yet. Not now. We should be okay for now. We should be okay. The rain's building, the roof humming.
