Andrew, Cleo, and HP Memeness
Andrew's been napping for two hours now. Not that I'm complaining: I was able to eat lunch, clean the downstairs bathroom, sweep the floor, prep two different baby foods for freezing (zucchini and green potatoes, which is a mix of white potatoes, zucchini, and peas that Andrew likes), fold the laundry, and talk to Bill. I just checked on him, and he's out like a light, sleeping on his tummy and every so often, thinking of sucking his pacifier. He hasn't eaten since breakfast, which was 8.30 this morning, and it's 2pm now, so when he wakes up, he's going to be starving . It's either growth spurt, or....well....growth spurt, I suppose. All I have to say is it's a very good thing I went with the convertible car seat instead of another infant carrier, since he's too long for most of them as it is. Now if only he'd gain some weight.... Normally, Cleo's not all into her toy basket. Mostly it's a basket of toys she's sniffed, and proceeded to ignore. But recently I've been finding some of the toys scattered around the floor. I figured it was Andrew, because heck, it's not like Cleo plays with them. Plus, these were the catnip toys, and Cleo has never been a fan of catnip - it made her sick as a kitten, and she's been off it ever since. I'd flesh out Peter Pettigrew's backstory. It's not exactly a change, per se, because we just don't know that much. But I'd like to know more about why he did what he did, and I think JKR did us a disservice in not exploring it. Okay, fine, she had a lot going on in that last book, she could hardly put much more in. But there was an interview at one point where she said she'd tell us more about Peter in Book 6, and that never happened. So I do think the intent was there, and she might have more on Peter in those infamous notebooks of hers. If she ever puts out that Harry Potter encyclopedia, he'll be the first person I look up.
