Guest Post: Wolf in Sheeps’ Clothing
Today, I am honored to publish a guest post written by Sarah Jenkins, MC, LPC of Tempe, Arizona (USA). She is an Arizona Board Licensed Professional Counselor, EMDRIA Certified EMDR therapist, and specializes in helping women and men with histories of trauma, especially emotional, physical, and sexual abuse. She specializes in EMDR therapy and speaks about EMDR, trauma treatment, and PTSD treatment, at local and international conferences including, more recently, the 2009 EMDR Canada Conference held in Vancouver.
Sarah’s private practice, Dragonfly International Therapy, is located in Tempe, AZ where she runs a Women’s Healing Circle that offers a combination of approaches for healing from anxiety, depression, and trauma. The group is also helpful for those who are doing EMDR therapy already, and want extra support around their experiences. Sarah’s has served as a Clinical Supervisor for a federally funded EMDR based trauma treatment program. She is also on the adjunct faculty for the University of Phoenix and Arizona State University.

Sarah has also e-Books that help offer support for those who want to heal from the past, to live in the present. “Stories for Healing Hearts” is filled with inspiring short stories and useful exercises for those recovering from anxiety, depression, drugs and alcohol. In this workbook, you will discover that you are not alone, even if it feels like you are.

“Dragonfly Trauma Relief†is a helpful book for those who want to understand trauma.
Sit down, and let me tell you a story, a fable that tells of a wolf in sheep’s clothing. It is a fable, written by Aesop, that you may be curious to learn, and can tell us of addiction’s common deceptions. Perhaps you will find the lesson in the beginning, or even at the end, but you will be curious about what you will soon learn, as you read on.
